iTranslate Translator

👉 How to Install and Use the iTranslate Keyboard Extension
The iTranslate Keyboard lets you translate while typing in your favorite apps.

  1. Open Settings on your device

  2. Go to General > Keyboard > Keyboards > Add New Keyboard

  3. Select iTranslate and tap Allow Full Access

To use it, open any app and tap the Globe icon at the bottom of the keyboard. Select iTranslate Keyboard.

  • To change languages, tap the small Globe icon and choose your source or target language

  • To translate text, type using the iTranslate Keyboard, then tap the blue arrow. The translation will appear in your app

  • To translate incoming messages, tap and hold the message > Copy > then tap the speech bubble button on the iTranslate Keyboard

 

👉 How to Change Languages
To change languages in text translation:

  1. Tap the language name at the top of the screen

  2. Scroll or search for the language you want

  3. Choose which language you want to translate from and to

 

👉 How to Download Offline Languages
With offline mode, you can translate between any two supported languages without an internet connection.

  1. Tap on a flag in the language picker

  2. Look for the icons:

    • Blue cloud = available to download

    • Green airplane = already downloaded

    • Grey cloud = not supported offline

  3. Tap the blue cloud to download the pack

You can also manage all offline languages by tapping the ⚙️ Gear icon > Offline Mode.

 

👉 What Languages Does iTranslate Support?
iTranslate offers translation in more than 100 languages, with support for:

  • Speech Translation

  • Offline Translation

If a verb can be conjugated, we display a card at the bottom of the translated text. The availability of conjugations may vary depending on the input. In the case of the string you have, no conjugations are available.

👉 How to Use Voice Mode
Voice Mode allows you to hold live conversations in different languages.

  1. Tap the microphone icon in the app

  2. Tap the language icon to select the language you want to translate from

  3. Speak your sentence—translation will appear automatically when you stop

Extra options in Voice Mode:

  • Tap the translated text to save to favorites, hear it again, expand to full screen, edit, share, or delete

  • Disable automatic stop voice recognition in Settings

  • To change languages, exit Voice Mode by tapping the X between flags

Offline Mode is also available in Voice Mode. Just switch on the airplane toggle to download and use supported language packs.

👉 How to use iTranslate Lens

With iTranslate Lens and your iPhone’s camera, you can instantly translate menus, cards, signs, and more. Just Point, Snap, and Translate. Adjust the box in the lens to select what text you want to translate. You can also scan and translate objects with the camera: open the Lens feature and switch to "Object".
